Business cards in Armenia: a practical guide
What to put on a business card, the usual sizes, and how to order a paper or NFC business card in Armenia.

Business cards remain part of many meetings, fairs and shop counters in Armenia. This guide covers what to put on a card, the usual sizes, and the options for ordering one.
What to include
A business card answers one question: how can a client reach you? These details cover the answer.
- Your name and job title, as you want clients to address you.
- Your company's name and logo, so people recognize the card immediately.
- A phone number with the +374 code, so it also works for contacts outside Armenia.
- Your email and website, ideally on your company's own domain.
- The social pages you use for work, such as LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook.
- Your address, if customers visit your office, shop or studio.
- A QR code that opens your website or digital profile, so people can save all of these details in one step.
If you work with partners abroad, consider a second language on the back, such as English or Russian. It helps them read and spell your name correctly.

Sizes
Business cards have no single international standard. According to Wikipedia's overview of business card sizes, paper cards are usually 90 × 50 mm in Russia and much of Eastern Europe. Western Europe uses 85 × 55 mm, and the United States uses 3.5 × 2 inches.
NFC business cards follow a different rule. Most use the ID-1 format of the ISO/IEC 7810 standard, which measures 85.60 × 53.98 mm. This is the size of a bank card, so they fit any wallet or card holder. A Mibio Card measures 85 × 54 mm and is 0.8 mm thick.
Paper or NFC
Paper cards cost less per card, and they suit occasions where you hand out hundreds at once. You reprint them whenever your details change, and recipients discard many of them soon after a meeting. An NFC card is a one-time order. It opens your digital profile with a tap and stays up to date when your details change.
Most of the people you meet can open a digital profile. At the end of 2025, 80% of people in Armenia used the internet, according to DataReportal.
