Turn on NFC on an Android phone

An Android phone reads Mibio only while NFC is on. Switching it on takes a few seconds, and it stays on.

The quick way

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen twice to open Quick Settings.
2. Find the NFC tile and tap it, so it lights up. If you don't see it, swipe left: it may be on another page of tiles.
3. Hold your Mibio product against the back of the phone to check.

From Settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Type NFC in the search bar at the top.
3. Open the NFC setting and switch it on.

Where the setting lives depends on the brand. Two common examples:

• Samsung: Settings › Connections › NFC and contactless payments
• Google Pixel: Settings › Connected devices › Connection preferences › NFC
